Ever since Sestina in Culver City closed, this place has become my go-to for upscale vegan Italian. I prefer the Redondo location because they have a full bar, but this one is good too! The Caesar salad and mozzarella sticks are my favorite appetizers so far. Unfortunately the garlic knots were too similar to funnel cake and not garlicky enough, I wouldn’t recommend them. The pastas and pizzas are great.
This is the best vegan Italian food I've ever had. Caprese salad got the flavors and textures exactly right. Calzone was delicious, and the cacio e pepe was exactly right. Tiramisu was a lovely end to the meal. Since going vegan almost 20 years ago I have never had this kind of authentic food done so well. Atttentive service too.
I absolutely love Pura vita, I even plan to have it a future wedding or event. You can’t go wrong with any options here, but the cashew ricotta, buffalo cauliflower, and spaghetti are my personal favorites. It’s one of the few nice sit down fully vegan places. It does cost a pretty penny but a great bday or celebration place.
I looooove this place! I try to go whenever I'm in the area. I've had the black magic lasagna, cacio e pepe and the pomodoro and all have been incredible! I've been to Pura Vita several times and they never disappoint. the black magic lasagna is perfection. the pizzas are the best. honestly everything I've ever had here was delicious. I'm gushing, and they deserve it. the food here is insane. vegans and non vegans will LOVE IT!
One of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had! Pizza also very nice. So many options. Very chilled, elegant and vibey environment perfect for a date night! Staff also super helpful and friendly. Probably my favourite food spot in LA! Bit pricey, but worth it!
It seemed like everyone working was smiling and happy with each other, and that was so infectuous. Food was great, too.
