I was introduced to Purdys Dockside in 2009, and it has never let me down! Even during the lockdown, we were still able to enjoy either perch or pickerel! I've brought so many friends and family members along; we all live near London, so we make a day trip out of it! Grandma Purdys' coleslaw is delicious, and the fries are extra fantastic this year—super crispy! But the highlight is definitely the fish: lightly battered and fried to perfection. It's amazing! I’m hoping to go one more time before you close. Is that possible?
Adam Voisey is by far the best employee. He not only helped change the oil in my car but also playfully slapped me with a raw pickerel. Afterwards, we went to Purdy Fisheries and ordered some cereal. We enjoyed a long conversation about fishing and the importance of being a Good Samaritan at Tim Horton's. I highly recommend the Frosted Flakes, but I would advise against the Spider-Man ice cream – it wasn't great. That's my only complaint. Everything else was perfect!
The staff here are amazing, and the fish is unparalleled. We frequently drive from the Windsor area just to unwind and enjoy the best fish around, all while sitting by the beautiful dock. This is my happy place, and my daughter and I cherish our outings in Sarnia.

I had an amazing Perch dinner! It was the perfect way to end a busy day. The food was fantastic, and the riverside view was stunning.
