Terrible service, i would not recommend to anyone! After ordering two dishes and only receiving one of them i was told that the person serving us only works there a couple times a week and didn't know how to work the till properly, after then waiting another 20 minutes received the second dish I was told sorry for the mistake and i wont be charged for the second dish. Upon leaving I was told that i had to pay full price for the second dish. Although the food was average, the service from staff and their communication was poor and to top off this horrible dining experience, I could see their complete and utter lack of effort in trying to resolve this issue, which was enough for me to never go...
This is my experience. I live in the area so have had coffee, breakfast and lunch in Pure few times, but after each time this place does not pop in my mind as the best! Coffee is not very good, service not much better, average. The only great thing about this place is the location and decor. I have seen people taking their plate and going to counter to complain about food. With so many places to go to in Glenelg (on Jetty road and side streets) I refuse to waist my $$$ on bad to average coffee/food and not so great service. Having "hipster" looking staff is not enough. They should know how to make good coffee, clean tables and be helpful and smile at the customer. Sorry to give negative revi...

Pure is a great place to chill with friends on a sunny day in Glenelg. The venue is loud, friendly and inviting with quick customer service despite the constant hustle. Beach food to me is hot chips and burgers accompanied by a fresh cool drink. Pure provides the perfect summer menu with plenty of gourment food and chips cooked to perfection. I've visited this café mulitiple times and would recommend the sliders! Cocktails are good and coffee is devine. I only suggest that Pure expands it's menu for those with dietary requirements.
Bustling cafe in Glenelg, with the promise of good food. Fantastic ambiance, excellent and attentive service the food delivered at Pure was just nice. The coffee was tops, perfectly made, the food was presented well, and tasted nice. Nothing outstanding. The battered fish was very oily. Homemade chips were a winner. I've been regular for years. but after my last 3 culinary experiences I will not be back! the prices on their breakfast menu are now completely ridiculous! $20 for something decent? as I have been in shock re: prices ( would have been $30 for fully cooked breakfast with speck
