what a sound. on the high st located near the crossing with the hagley road, it is in possession, but the irrepressible roly that is always on the hand to provide a personal service. we have learned to do without the menu and put ourselves in the hands. always delicious, always different, we tried almost everything in the offer. the tamarindensoße, which accompanies the poppadome, is piquant. the lamb is always tender and the okra is excellent. they need to book to secure a weekend table, as it is always busy with repeating custom.

Had a lovely Saturday evening in Purnima. We hadn’t booked and just turned up on spec, even though it was really busy they still accommodated us. The food service was absolutely superb. We had a few dishes and notably the lamb Achari chicken sagwalla we’re both delicious. The staff are all lovely. Highly recommend and it’s definitely going to be our go to Bearwood restaurant.

Amazing customer service, delicious, tasty food, beautiful decor giving a calming and relaxing atmosphere. Was so impressed been in Birmingham all my life and only just discovered this wonderful restaurant. Well done will be back x

Eating was great. that was my second visit, not sure we needed dry ice, but it made a good laugh. excellent service and kitchen
