I had not been here since 1989. Back then it was just a great place to hang out and have a beer with friends. Yes, it was a dive but that was its charm. This trip I was surprised to find that the bar had expanded into a restaurant and an event room while the dive still exists. Still has great service in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. If you 're looking for a kick-back, roadhouse of old or more mid-scale dining, check it out.
The smash burger was one of the best...if not The Best... burger I've ever had. It was juicy, perfectly cooked and served on a toasted bun. We liked that it was on a traditional burger bun and not a chewy kaiser. The fries were fresh cut, piping hot, and delicious. It was just exactly what I was hoping for. Wonder feeling when you walk in the door ad the bartenders know your name and drink and have it ready for you before you sit down. The bar food is really good and service on that is very quick. I've been going to this establishment for over 20YEARS, never a problem until a new barmaid developed a terrible stick up her butt I didn't tip her as much as the nice bartenders and she had me removed for bad service, HERS! TSK,TSK she's a real gem...
