I’ve been a vegetarian and a loyal Qdoba customer for the past five years since moving to the US. Unfortunately, after my most recent experience, I think I will no longer be ordering from them. My last three visits have been disappointing, and I'd like to share the details of the last two incidents.
First, about a month and a half ago, I ordered a veggie bowl through DoorDash. I specifically requested a taco shell on the side when I called, but when my order arrived, there was no taco shell, and about three or four toppings were missing. Instead, they added pickled onions, which I never asked for. The portion size was smaller than expected, and overall, the taste and quantity fell short of...
I tried this place once for lunch and I thought it was good and after ordering it again a 2nd time for lunch with friends, and my original suspicion was correct. It appears they use fresh products because most of the vegetables taste fresh. My biggest concern when eating out is, am getting fresh vegetables. This is one of the better Mexican restaurants to eat at so give this place a try and you won't be disappointed.
The inside of the restaurant was unappealing, with a dark and musty odor reminiscent of stale water. The staff barely spoke to customers, communicating in grunts at best. They seemed impatient and treated patrons as if they were unhappy to be working there. The food lacked flavor, and I had to enhance my meal with spicy queso from my chips, which was just a small portion. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
We just left this restaurant about an hour ago, and unfortunately, it was our second bad experience with the food. The quesadilla resembled something from Taco Bell, and it cost $17! The pinto beans were tough, and the serving of brown rice was only about two teaspoons. Additionally, the older gentleman working behind the counter seemed very frustrated with the new employee. We won’t be coming back!

Disgusting, dark and smelly inside like dank water, then the workers hardly talked to customers, described better as grunting!! The workers treated customers very briefly and impatiently like they were miserable working there. The food was not tasteful,had to add my spicy queso from chips to my meal, a child portion. Just horrid smh
I stopped by the restaurant right before my shift started. I wasn't very hungry but still needed to grab a bite. The young man at the counter recommended a mini-bowl, and it was just the right size and incredibly tasty. Of course, I also had to get some taco chips with cheese sauce. So delicious!
The food arrived precisely as I ordered it, but it was lacking in flavor and quite bland. There was a significant difference compared to other Qdoba locations I've visited.
The Create Your Own Mini Bowl is amazing and incredibly fresh. On the other hand, I found the 3-Cheese Queso Chips to be a bit too salty for my liking.

The guacamole had a texture that suggested it had been frozen and then thawed, which was quite disappointing. I expect higher quality from Qdoba.
The Create Your Own Salad was fresh and bursting with flavor, and the 3-Cheese Queso Chips were outstanding.
