Please disregard what they used to do in the past! My friends and I have been coming here since high school, as it was the most convenient option when I used to live in the area. We used to stop by for Red Bulls before class, cupcakes for a birthday party, and now for family meals. We were loyal customers. The prices are very reasonable, but their service could use some improvement. Wow. What a rude guy that I had to deal with. I 'm disabled and walk with a cane. I had a store ad in my other hand and I put it on top of some shipping boxes for a few seconds while I looked at the hot dog ingredients. It is hard to hold them and an ad when you also have a cane. This restaurant is like no other. Their specials are always almost nonexistent - they advertise items on sale but never have them in stock. They don't carry many common items that people need, so I don't understand why anyone shops here. It's better to go to Fred Meyer in Burien, which is fully stocked and more convenient. The staff at this restaurant were extremely impolite. I felt unwelcome after going through the trouble of finding a parking spot in the chaotic lot, only to be treated like a nuisance when placing my order at Starbucks. The barista did not greet me or show any basic manners, instead displaying a visibly annoyed attitude and loudly exhaling. The Deli is a complete mess. This is the only QFC (Quality Food Center) I know of that is completely disorganized. They are missing out on a big lunch crowd because they never have soup, sandwiches, or hot food ready until around 1pm. People usually take lunch at 11am, but when I went in at 11:45am, there was nothing available except for baked chicken. It's ridiculous. Management really needs to step in and either hire more staff or replace the current employees.
They claim to have 19 restrictions in place, but they are not enforced. I prefer to stick with Trader Joe's and Costco. My daughter entered the store and waited in line for several minutes. She had 4 items. A man without a mask approached her and said he had an item and was going before her. She declined, but he cut in front of her and the other five people waiting in line. The staff did nothing about it.
I do not like this restaurant due to the parking situation, high prices, and the unfriendly attitude of some of the employees. While there are a few who are friendly and courteous, there are others who make you feel unwelcome. I prefer to shop at Fred Meyer in Burien, the other Kroger store, because they have a larger parking lot, friendlier staff, and better prices.
