we went here for a meal that was eating nice, apart from the burger was pink inside, owner did not have good customer service. and also owners was terrible aggressive and evil, my partner had a problem with his card, only needed to sort on our banks to sort it through the internet, no chance was given as soon as the card was rejected, the owner took my partner thrown him out very seriously. He then went to threaten me that he had my daring rain, and would come and find me. once the bill has been transferred to bill and money, the bill has been paid within a few minutes. Unfortunately, that was after the attack. I'm considering calling the police for attacks. all other employees were pleasant...
We visited the pub for Sunday dinner shortly after arriving in the area, and ended up stopping in a few more times for a drink during our stay. We were very pleased with the delicious Sunday dinner and the friendly staff. The prices for drinks were a bit high, but that seems to be the norm these days. The pub was always busy in the evenings with reservations for food, making it feel more like a restaurant than a traditional pub. It's on the smaller side, so it's best to make a reservation if you want to eat. If you just want to relax and have a drink, it's best to go before 5pm. Overall, we would recommend a visit to this pub.
it is a few years ago that we visited, but was good to see the friendly greeting and good pub food continues. there are good sitting options outside and a good menu with local food. the hotel is located a short drive from the atlantic autobahn near...the showground of cornwall is the perfect place to break their trip.
We have visited this restaurant before and decided to make a reservation again while passing through near Wadebridge. The food is consistently delicious and the atmosphere is pleasant. my mother and I visited to dinner on 05/05/22. I had the sirloin steak with tomato and chips, while my mother had a daily special spade and wild garlic with new kartoffels and carrots. both were amazing! the gentleman behind the bar and our waitress were both nice, brilliant.
The Quarryman ...warm welcome from staff, outstanding quality food and good value £14 Sunday lunch main course. Lovely table in restaurant. Good outside seating if required or your able to take dogs into the lovely bar area to eat too.
This fantastic pub is definitely worth a visit, even if you have to go out of your way. The beer is top-notch and the atmosphere is filled with history, much like the slate cottages situated behind the pub.
