I hate to write bad critikens, especially after I came out of a pandemic, but this restaurant is just rough. it has a great location, but it stops there. I ordered her special sushi roll and it wasn't good. the place is dirty and the manager/workers had impromptu work sessions next to our table. I think if you spend enough time in the bar, you'll be disregarding everything I mentioned. I almost wanted to drink after this experience to delete it from my memory. I hope the management sees this review and makes some drastic changes. they get decent reviews on other platforms and that's why we left, but my experience wasn't in tune with these reviews
We parked our boat in the Dania Beach Marina, just across the parking lot from the Quarterdeck Restaurant, for almost two months and during that time we must have enjoyed two dozen lunches or dinners at the Quarterdeck. We never had a bad one or one we didn't enjoy. The restaurant is popular and, particularly on weekends, it can get loud and lively and the wait times for food orders can get a bit long, but the quality doesn't seem to suffer at all. Favorites from the menu included all of the sushi and sashimi, the American burger and the coconut shrimp.
As a newcomer, it is important to note that this restaurant does not take reservations and there is always a waiting time for dinner. On this occasion, we had to wait 40 minutes. Despite the poor logistics, the staff is very friendly. The food is decent, nothing exceptional but also nothing terrible. The restaurant is located by the sea, offering a beautiful view. The live music added a nice touch to our dining experience. Overall, I would recommend this place as a fun spot for drinks with friends. However, that's where it ends for me.
Wonderfull pier and great food. I got a rainbow sushi roll and immediately I wanted more. Awesome place. I do wish that the service was a tad bit faster for example my parents got crab chowder and the waiter did not even ring it up. By my self I would give it 5 but I feel bad for my parents because my mom only got a side salad for dinner, but that is not the restaurants fault it was the waiters so I will keep it at 4. The desert was honestly very delicious. We enjoyed the key lime and cheesecake. The key lime pie tasted like real key lime. I really enjoyed the view off of the pier. The service was nice as well. It was a little slow but that is expected with a busy restaurant. Also the railing was a little dirty where we were sitting but it wasn’t too much of a problem since the view made up for it. I recommend this place if you are looking for a nice spot on a pier.
i absolutely love this place. i will always come here if i want a nice lunch or dinner by the beach. the restaurant is right above the water and its beautiful to watch the sunset. they have a pretty good variety of foods from seafood and sushi to burgers and steak. wait usually is about 30 minutes but it almost always ends up being quicker than that. overall great place for family since the beach is right next door but as well as just in general !!
I love the atmosphere, food and scenery! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, the food was great! The scenery out of our booth window was the ocean crashing upon shore which was peaceful. There's plenty of outside seating with a bar. It's nice to feel the ocean breeze while sipping on a drink or eating your meal. It's a fun and excellent place for a family outing or a dinner date.
I sat down at the bar and waited for 5 minutes to be noticed. The three bartenders were preoccupied with a group of about five people, including a manager who was drinking with them. After finally getting my beer, I waited for someone to ask for a refill on my open tab and I am still waiting. It feels like I am hearing the Jeopardy theme music playing right now. we went for a late evening drink and snack. tested the spinach and key line pipe, as well as a tequila 512 margarita. decent prices for a place on the water! have added the happy hour menu and daily specialties I try again! they were not too busy at 9 o'clock on Thursday and service was great!-Made it back for taco Tuesday $5.99 tacos! very good!
