Who's open on a weekday evening after 9pm that serves legit meals and not just bar food? That was the question and problem that Quattro Pazzi Café solved for us! Double win: a pasta menu as long as the Eataly fresh pasta selections! Service was always attentive but a little bit of missed communication with multiple people waiting on us and not knowing exactly where we were in the process of water, orders, etc. but we never didn't have what we needed. Quattro Pazzi is a gluten free persons dream come true! In edition to their regular menu, they have a huge selection of gluten free options! You won't get bored with this menu, there's so much to come back and try! While dining in I was able to get my Chicken Sophia Loren dish, which is typically sautéed chicken, as breaded chicken cutlet (because how could I not take advantage of getting gluten free breaded chicken?! . Nice place. We dropped in for lunch on a Sunday. Quite slow, but I think you could expect that at 3:00 p.m. on a Sunday. Food is good and service was good. They were flexible with off menu options or customizations. There were four of us, three of us lovedtheir meal and I thought mine was good. Could have used a little more flavor to mine but all in all great food. Good service. Adefinite stop if you're at sacred heart or Fairfield University and are looking for a nice dining experience that's not too cashand not too upscale.
For the main course, I had the spicy penne vodka with chicken, while my companion had the chicken parmesan pasta. I found the pasta to be delicious on its own, without the meat, but the chicken in the vodka dish tasted pre-packaged and frozen, which was disappointing. My boyfriend enjoyed his chicken parmesan pasta, which was a good sign. We finished off the meal with tiramisu for dessert, which was just alright. when we pulled up i thought my husband brought me to a restaurant attached to a shady motel. the outside building is outdated, has unusually low ceilings, and is weirdly located at an intersection in a shady parking lot. once you walk into the actualrestaurant the vibe totally changes. the decor blends the low ceiling in a way that creates a particularly swanky atmospherewith tables under dim lighting overlooking a massive window that looks onto a river in a valley. food was 10/10 as well andservice
I ordered a linguine pasta w spicy tomato sauce and garlic bread to go. It cost $40 and the pasta had no taste. The pasta was overcooked (too soft/mushy) and the sauce was just spicy, no real flavor at all. How do you make bad pasta?!!!!????! Not worth$40 AT ALL. New in the area so at least I know never to go there again. I went home and added spices and flavor to the pastamyself. It was better but the mushy pasta just wasn?t it for me.
Overpriced, poor quality, save your money! We?ve tried dining in and takeout, and both are not impressive however? takeout is far poorer quality. ???? We spent $111 on takeout and regretted it. Ordered broccoli rabe, they gave us broccoli. Ordered Caesarsalad, it came with vinaigrette!! ???? linguini with clams was mushy, bland, and sandy. The pasta with truffle burrata was sour.Quite upsetting.
The food at this restaurant was excellent. The service was average, as the waiter spoke broken English making it difficult to understand him. The bar area is very pleasant and the seating around it was comfortable. Our group of 14 had no trouble fitting in. The food is great! You can end it there. The food is really really good. The staff is helpful and attentive. The drinks were ok....not fantastic but good. Overall Quattro Pazzi so worth a visit. Nice outdoor seating available with heaters for colder evenings. Go...eat...enjoy.
