A little piece of Italy! The atmosphere and the food are both superb; from the owner greeting you at the door to fresh and visible spice garden, this place is truly authentic. It starts with fresh baked bread. Perfectly airy and crispy, but this is not a butter spot although you could probably get some. They give you this garlicy/Italiany dip which is out of this world. I would literally drink it, plus it can be used to dip pizza crust in. Speaking of pizza crust, we got the Diavolo, which is a margarita pizza which suppersota....it's no joke. Perfectly salty, obviously coal fired and fresh basil make it the perfect bite. As you know we are big calamari people, and they do it right! Not over...
Food was decent. Service at the end ruined it. Absolutely appalling and embarrassing! Will never be back. Our server came to our table and loudly asked us, Was everything with the service alright? To which we responded Yes then he said Tip is usually 20% he embarrassed all of us and made us pay $30 more to the $20 we already gave him. There aren 't words for how disgusting this act was. I am COMPLETELY disappointed. Not sure what type of training the servers have but this man clearly needs some rework to his attitude and career choice.
Authentic Italian restaurant in Heart of Nutley. Food is very fresh including bread and home made pasta. They serve very soft bread with amazing spicy garlic dip. We ordered penne Ala vodka, chicken Parm and both the dishes were amazing. They have amazing desserts to select from, my personal favorite is Tiramisu. The vibe is very cozy and comfy best for date night or friends get together. It's BYOB place so feel free to bring your best red wine!! Highly recommend this place for authentic Italian food .

We visited for the first time and will definitely return. There's a bakery connected to the restaurant, and it offered a fantastic selection of goodies to take home. Now, onto the food—it was wonderful! Our waiter, who I believe was named Joe, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He asked us what we enjoyed and made great recommendations. When we had questions about the dishes, he provided clear explanations.
Adding my two cents just to echo what most everyone is saying about this place: the food is excellent and fresh and the staff is courteous and friendly. We went for lunch, they have a very affordable lunch menu with most of the main favorites anyone might want at an Italian restaurant. Highly recommend and will likely go again often!
High quality food, attentive waitstaff and some live Italian crooning to go along with it. Everything was delicious. The tables must have been added by a Tetris record holder. Only complaint was the half hour wait with a reservation. Perhaps if they gave us some of that amazing table bread, we'd have been more patient.
In my opinion, this is the best Italian restaurant in town. Whenever I return, I have to stop by. Their homemade pasta and pizza are incredible, and you absolutely have to try their Nutella pizza for dessert. It's a solid 5 out of 5! Absolutely gorgeous authentic italian restaurant with great service, genuine conversation. Food was just as good as the service! 10/10! If you are in the North New Jersey area, this is a for sure date night location. Our server Gabe showed us a great time and welcomed us with the spirit of italy.
