Queens Head Pub - Tisch resevieren

Queen head is an oakville tradition having been in its present location for over 20 years, near as I care to calculate. It obviously doing something right. A traditional English pub in atmosphere, decor, food and prices. Nothing done wrong for the genre it embodies . It's location in oakville's down town lends itself to business lunch crowds while evening visitors tend to be those who drove there for a night (unlike say pipes and taps in north oakville whi h is more of a local crowd who walk in)You must factor in parking time and money for this area. Old school English pub. Great decor. Very authentic atmosphere. Service was great(although wasn't busy) but regardless all were friendly and attentive. Wait staff answered all our questions and made suggestions. Ended up with the Fish and chips and house burger. The fish was the best I've ever had at a pub. The fish was so light and melted in my mouth. The burger was cooked perfectly and was flavourful. Steak fries were ok but a good pairing with the fish. We absolutely love this place! It's been a few years since our last visit to the Queens, but we've returned twice in just two weeks. They have an excellent selection of beers on tap and the food is fantastic—everyone enjoyed their meals, including the French onion soup, chicken tenders, and fish and chips. I really appreciate that this pub maintains the cozy, welcoming atmosphere of a traditional local pub, rather than becoming a soulless, modernized restaurant. We can't wait to come back soon!

The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I took my girlfriend here for our first date, and now we're returning for our six-month anniversary, so it definitely made a lasting impression!

Outside seating good we could not sit inside as it is a bar quite dark suitable for younger families who want to have few drinks But to have a meal we like the outside

We had burger chicken wrap and chicken curry dopiaz . Very tasty aromatic and good size ? ? tasted like homemade food ,clean and friendly. I highly recommend this
