For 2 adults and 3 kids it was $165!! I got a catfish po-boy and the batter was grainy like there was sand in it. My husband had 3 fish tacos and found a hair in his food. The 3 kids had chicken strips which were very basic. The drinks were bottled from the fridge. The clam chowder bowl was ok. The bread bowl was delicious but the chowder was mediocre. Very disappointed. I asked the cashier what she recommended, she said the chicken sandwich. I laughed thinking, I can get a chicken sandwich anywhere. Maybe I should've listened. Not worth the money.
We stopped at this restaurant after our tour of Alcatraz and were blown away by their shrimp poboy - one of the best we've had outside of New Orleans. The service was quick, the restaurant was open-air and clean, and they had a nice restroom as well. It was a pleasant surprise!
1st but not last time. Food was excellent. Had oyster poboy on bed of French fries and ordered a chicken ceaser salad which was huge and delicious. Waiter was so sweet and accommodating. Can't wait to return. The folks bashing this restaurant must be

We have ordered a soup in the bread. But the soup came in a plate and the bread was a single separate and small bread. As an excuse they said sorry, the correct bread was not delivered. But without soup in the bread, it was not the same.
This restaurant is not real and is only open during certain tourist events. I have walked by it nearly every day for the past five years and it is never open to locals. I would be highly cautious of the freshness of the food.
Small eating area. Large parties will be an issue. Food was CA New Orleans. Unfortunately I have had LA New Orleans and seasoning is unmistakable. This fell a little short. But if in San Fran, it's a good option.
The fish tacos and sweet potato fries with powdered sugar were excellent. The restaurant had a great selection of food. We chose to sit outside and enjoyed the atmosphere and sunshine.
