Just off the 401, this is a great, healthy stop for fast food, Mexican style!They offer a good range of dishes (burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and more), based on a common set of inputs, available in different sizes. They are all quite tasty and you can customize the spiciness with different sauces/toppings. They also offer churros for dessert, as well as chips/drinks.The food last night was very tasty and filling, and based on the new calorie information, a good idea. The drunken chicken burrito I had was very good.Service was a bit brusque, but it might have the been late Sunday night factor (I know I wouldn't want to be working!!!). Had take out from there twice . Its is Mexican food served like subway. All of the Meats taste bland and the toppings taste the same. Any seasoning would be welcome. The service was good but the managers (owners) are not pleasant. They watch the customer and staff with a look like your trying to steal from them. The only spice you can get is there house salsa. Which just looks and taste like ground jalapeno peppers and nothing else. avoid this place , it is just a hot bland mess.
This place makes tasty food, but it's impossible to avoid comparing to similar chains. It's weird that they charge extra for "grilled" vegetables (which are actually cooked in a microwave) when other similar burrito places manage to include veggies for a similar price. The salsa was tasty, but a little gelatinous, which was kind of weird. I'd try it again, but I wouldn't choose it over another brand of burrito.
This place is like a subway for burritos . It's great for vegetarians too as there is a couple of choices for protein.The one thing I'd change about this place is the amount of cilantro they use. I would much prefer tomatoes , and brown rice on my burrito (but since they are full of that nasty herb I sit them out).Other then that the service is always great and the ingredients always fresh :)
Stopped in to try something new and was pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed a great quick meal and have been back a number of times. we really enjoy the food and the friendly staff. It may not be Gourmet but it is a refreshing change over your typical fast food!
I had chicken quesadilla and quite enjoyed it. It was a nice surprise to get such good food at a take-out restaurant. It is near the highway and hotels and I would stop here rather than at one of the usual highway 401 rest stops.
Its a short visit in Brockville area. Fish lime burritos and fish lime tacos are to die for. Burritos is a big size. Owners and staff and friendly. Always fresh toppings and sauces. Love the colors of the interior.
I have had the chili lime fish tacos on several occasions and they have been good each time. Toppings are fresh and tasty. Service has been friendly and quick.
