We made a quick stop on Route 17 for gas and a restroom break. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were in terrible condition. We initially chose to stop at Quick Chek because we had found their facilities to be acceptable in the past. However, I noticed a sign indicating the last cleaning, which was dated September 5th—three days ago! It’s difficult to believe they were actually clean three days prior. This situation reflects very poorly on Quick Chek!
Just stopped on Rt 17 for gas and restrooms . The restrooms were disgusting! Clogged toilet. We stopped there because we have previously found Quick Chek bathrooms to be decent. There is a sign of last cleaning. It is supposed to be checked hourly. Thelast notation was from Sept 5!!! This is three days ago. Even that seems hard to believe that it was clean 3 days ago! Thusreflects VERY poorly on Quick Chek!
At Quickchek, the coffee was served ice cold, and the extra bacon and tomato on my sandwich were burnt to a crisp. The bacon was so overcooked that almost every bite caused it to crumble and fall apart. I was disappointed, especially considering the variety available on their menu.

The service is incredibly slow due to poor management, and the gas attendants are quite rude. We really need a Wawa in this area!
Be sure to try the Portuguese roll Thanksgiving Sandwich, but skip the cranberry. What an unexpected choice!
