The fish and chips are fine but not better than LG’s across the street, where they seem to care about protecting staff and customers. On entering the place, I almost choked in the smelly fog of burnt chip fat. Of the four staff members in evidence, none were wearing masks or face protection of any kind, nor were they displaying any form of social distancing. Nothing was said to a customer who came to collect his food and waited for about 5 minutes, even though he was wearing no form of face mask. Hand wash was in evidence. I think I’ll stay away until they start taking safety seriously.
Having kept clear of this place for 9 months because of its apparent attitude to Covid safety, I decided to give it another go. Sadly, still the same. Not a mask in sight. Just a small and flimsy screen directly in front of the till but lots of unprotected areas. It still smells of burnt fat. For me, that’s it. If they don’t care about customer and staff safety, I’ll spend my money with competitors
I have the pleasure of being a customer of Quinn’s fish cafe. Food has always been 10/10. Any problems with an order it is always sorted out in a timely manner. Best fish around. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Also has a lovely sit in where you are getting the food at its best. Quinns fish cafe also offers delivery which is a bonus on a stormy night when you don’t want to leave the house
We've been many times before and always enjoyed the food. Unfortunately last night it was quite the opposite, not only did they get our order wrong it seemed like the fish goujons and chips had already been cooked and then reheated they were rock hard. Goujons were especially burnt. Very disappointing and it's put me off eating there again.

Get from this place roughly once a month normally great food. Unfortunately last week's chippy nite was awful. As you can see from the pictures portion size is a joke for the price. I had to resort to a pot noddle to fill me lol. Don't think I'll be back very slow service. The staff are more interested in getting the delivery's done.
Ordered from here for the first time tonight. Placed order at 5.47ish and was given time of 6.45 for delivery. Didn't come until 7.10 and was cold when it arrived had to microwave it. Also the burger must have been made for a while as it couldn't be lifted without the bottom bun breaking apart from being soggy. Not great
Pre covid youse were probably the best chippie in the area but now it's like youse just know people are not gonna stop ordering, even though the food is now unpalatable, overcooked and greasy. Don't let yourself down.
Quinn's Fish Cafe consistantly makes THE best fish and chips in Comber and (I would argue) the surrounding area. It really is tough to beat! Great food Great service Great price. Well worth a visit.

If you go to Quinn's prepare to wait at least 15 or 20minutes for your meal because everything is cooked fresh for each order .Even the chips but I can assure it is worth the wait .
Food always freshly cooked on ordering. Good variety of menu choices. Carry out and table service both available.
