As a Crossgar resident our family have had a few meals from Quinns.They often make a mistake with the order, however we return.The last 4 orders we have made have been wrong and late. I understand they are busy and mistakes make us human.However ignorance is unacceptable. We ordered at 4:30 for collection at 6:30. we arrived at 6:30 and they said it was being prepared....30mins later I called Andrew over (the owner) asked where the order was...his response was disgusting embarrassing. We only go to this restaurant for convenience, but this will be the last time. This is not just a one-time bad experience, these guys are consistently terrible, as the other low-scoring reviews mention. I was disappointed to open my burger and find a messy, unappetizing salad on top. To top it off, there was a black hair stuck to one of the chips, which was disgusting. I was so angry that I threw the food away without even taking a picture. Other reviews mention serving raw chicken and low-quality cheese. This chippie in County Down is the best I've been to. Despite being busy during lunchtime, the food was delicious and worth the wait. Even my picky Mum agrees that the cod here is flaky and tasty. I ordered the chicken Maryland and it was excellent value for money. The chicken was cooked perfectly with no gristle or veins. I usually have leftovers when dining out, but this meal was so good that I finished everything on my plate. I'll definitely be returning, maybe even weekly.
Called to place phone order staff put the phone down before I finished placing my order.Collected the order, member of staff was very polite however opened my order and there was maggots in the cheese.Took it back to counter and there was no apologies or communication from staff.Avoid!!

We as a family have got food from Quins on quite a few occasions, the food has always been 1st class and I have great banter with the owners and staff.Bad feedback should always be taken with a large pinch of salt (and a splash of vinegar).
I have dined at this restaurant many times over the years with my family. The food is always cooked to perfection and the staff are kind and courteous. I would give this restaurant a 5-star rating for their excellent service.
Was in today for the first time and asked about the gravy’s which was the nicer and the fella who served me let me try both with a few chips and it didn’t disappoint..plus really good service
Some of the order missing and gave tinned peas when mushy peas requested. How does a chippy not know what mushy peas are.

I saw staff lifting cooked food with bare hands right in front of customers absolutely disgraceful.
Great choice of Good, cooked to order by friendly efficient staff. That's why we keep going back .
