This place was absolutely wonderful. What I'd like to touch on right away is the concerns that some have expressed regarding the noise. We were there during an extremely busy weekend, there were parties outside in the street, a football game showing in the bar downstairs, etc. Yet I still got some of the best sleep in my life. Certain measures have been taken in the bedroom to make it quite calming and to reduce the sound. The colors, lighting, mattress, pillows, etc just create this perfect ambient environment. Booked the Royal Suite as a New Year treat for ourself and a friend and it absolutely did not disappoint. Room is fantastic, spacious and well equipped. Full of touches like the sound system to hook up to and tables to sit or lounge around. The terrace is great to go out onto and watch the world go by, especially on the morning after the night before as the horse carriages pass by. Staff brilliant from beginning to end. This bar is a few blocks away from the craziness of bourbon street and seemed like more natives than tourists. In fact, I think my friends and I might have been the only tourists. It is a cool place with kitschy decor and a varied drink menu. My friend really enjoyed the Parish Sips beer. I tried a sip and it was a little tart and pretty delicious. My friend wanted to stop in since I believe they use the exterior for film shots in NCIS: New Orleans. Overall, it was a small bar but a nice break from the crowds of Bourbon Street.

Was simply rejected bar service because the person before me was a tip. First, why am I responsible for them? Secondly, they claimed they had tipped. What do you expect from me? Service: 1/5

Love this bar. It is a five bar with great cheap drinks and super friendly staff! Our friends loved it
