The food was good BUT they did not have our Greek fries because the frier was broken. They told us when we got there that we could get a refund through the app. I could not find it anywhere so I contacted the support via email. Have not received any info from them at all. They told me they were going to speak to the manager and let me know but I haven 't heard anything from them either. Not only that happened but the meat was cold and they didn 't have all the ingredients! This was a second chance visit after a terrible experience previously. I was surprised to see this place had an average of only two stars because I've heard good things from other friends. I didn't have any issues with their customer service; however, my friend and I were the only people there (we visited on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch). I got a salad bowl with romaine and chicken shawarma. I thought the chicken was juicy and had a good garlic flavor. I added grilled onions, shredded cheese, pickles, and cucumbers with tzatziki on top. I'm not familiar with authentic Mediterranean food, but as far as taste went, this was a big portion and satisfying. I would return to try more options.
We arrived to order 4 lunch bowls to bring to a gathering. Turns out they had ONE bowl left and we had to wait 10 mins for an employee to arrive with more. How do you not have bowls if your business requires them for takeout? Whoever runs this place doesn’t have a clue whats going on.Further- I asked about nutritional information. Employees had no idea if it was online or available.Took 3 people to figure out how to scan rewards from the app.
Service is really subpar. Ingredients are often cold and stale. My most recent experience I visited on a Saturday with no other customers in the restaurant around noon, and was told they were out of fries, one of only 2 or 3 sides on the menu. Seemed to me the employee just didn't want to make any. I've tried to give this place a fair chance, and the quality is just not serviceable. Not to mention, it's fairly pricy for what you get.
This Rachel's location has the worst quality of food compared to any others I have visited. We may have been spoiled by the Buffalo locations, but this one needs to make some changes. The rice was uncooked, the portions were very small, and the fryer was often out of order. Unfortunately, we do not plan on returning to this location, even though it is the closest to us.
We went to get lunch today and discovered that the restaurant is closed for remodeling. It would have been helpful to know this before we checked if they were open.
