Myself and my Wife went last night for the Abba Tribute night! We had booked a table which Michele showed us to straight away we ordered 2 Burger Meals, it was very busy but the meals came within 10 mins and were lovely, we then watched the 'ABBA Tribute ' which was fantastic,never seen so many people dancing to the Music in there,they played until almost 11pm and the Pub was rocking...despite being packed,Bar Service was still very prompt a credit to Ross, Michele and all the team.............Now been to 3 'Tribute ' nights and they just get better each time...Well Done the Railway Bell!!!
An excellent pub situated in south Woodford with a great selection of drinks to offer and a wide variety of food to accompany your stay. Friendly staff and are very attentive. Credit to Ross, Michele and team for making every visit worth coming back to especially with their live entertainment nights. Very recently I took my grandchildren here for a breakfast with santa morning which made the kids faces light up when one of the best Santa's I've seen this year walked into the pub saying hello to all the kids. Definitely worth recommending
The staff fantastic and very friendly. They were also, compitant, articulate and friendly. Furthermore, the burgers were succulent and tender. The music was also catchy and relaxing. The lighting decorations for Christmas were pretty but not too bright for those with sensory disabilities. Overall, it a classy , relaxing but still a friendly and informal environment. Overall, I think this is a highly recommendable establishment.
I visited the Railway Bell for the first time in late December 2023 to attend my late brother's wake. The staff, led by 'Michelle from the Bell', were incredibly welcoming and made my family feel at home. The food provided for the mourners was delicious and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Lunch time at The Railway Bell in South Woodford with 3 of our grandchildren. And so very well looked after by Ross, Sam and Broody. A great selection of food and drinks from the Kids menu and the Main menu. A lovely pub very glad we went there with the grandchildren and we will all be there again. Thank you Ross, Sam and Broody,
We had a wonderful Sunday lunch with our family. The menu had a great variety for adults and kids (especially loved the brownie and ice cream) at a reasonable price. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming.
Wanted a place for the family to enjoy watching a game with decent screens and a range of drinks and snacks for us all. Sam and Kim took great care of us, such s warm welcome!

We had a really nice breakfast with Santa experience, most realistic Santa I saw so far. The staff were kind and made the experience fun.
