Easily the worst chippy in Chorley. The reviews MUST be fake, to get this high. They dont take card, and no cash machine near by... So that was a little faff. Next, while stood queueing, they like to take orders off friends and regulars outside over people stood at the front. When I finally got my order taken, and waited for those behind me to get their food first, I noticed my food to start being bagged. Then a regular ordered a sausage... There was one in the heater... The one for my order. Yep, they got that... So I had to wait 15 minutes for another sausage while my bagged food got cold. Finally, get home and open the food. Wow,the SMALLEST portion of chips I've ever seen. Actually comic...
I gave a £20 note and received change for a £10 note at this restaurant. I have been a customer for years but after this incident, I will never return. I am very angry because I clearly stated it was a £20 note, but the cashier insisted it was only a £10 note. When I got home, my wife was upset because the £20 note she had given me was missing from her purse, and she had specifically given it to me to buy food from the chippy.
This restaurant served the worst fish and chips meal I have ever had. Despite good reviews, the food was cheap and of poor quality. The lady behind the counter was rude and seemed eager to close early. The food was cold and needed to be reheated at home. The fish had no batter, was small, tasteless, and stone cold. Overall, it was a waste of money and I will not be returning.
This is without a doubt the best fish and chip shop for miles around. The food is always hot and delicious, and the owners are always welcoming. I definitely recommend it! I wouldn't go anywhere else. From your occasional local resident. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This chippy is very clean owners and staff pleasant at all times they make you feel welcome and always very chatty, the food his cooked to order most of the time and the portions are plentiful.
Whenever I'm in chorley I make my way to Railway road chip shop never had a bad meal yet you get good portions and the food is excellent as are the staff would definitely recommend it .
Hidden away from the main road, this chippy is well worth seeking out. Parking is easy. Good food, well cooked and reasonably priced. We like their lightly battered fish.
