Visited again at 7:30 to pick up four fish dinners after a long day, only to be informed that "fish? we don't have any left!" This place seems to be either on vacation, unexpectedly closed, or simply doesn't have any fish and closes by 9pm. It appears they are not putting much effort into customer service. While it is understandable that any establishment can run out of inventory, it was the staff's attitude that was disappointing. One would think that purchasing fish dinners at 7:30 in a fish and chip shop would be reasonable.
I often travel to Prestick from East Kilbride to get fish and chips from here as it is delicious. However there has been more than one occasion when we have travelled here and the chippy is not open for one reason or another. They do not have a facebook page or website to check if open so can be disappointing to arrive to find it is closed. Please set up a facebook page to give us information on opening times and days it is closed.
The food was good, but the service was very poor. We entered the restaurant at 6pm and ordered a chicken supper, a single fish and chips, and cheese. At 6:25pm, we asked if our order would be ready soon and the girl very rudely replied that our order was only placed 10 minutes ago.
Wednesday night takaway left me still hungry. Hamburger was thin and fried to a crisp. Been before for a takeaway which was enjoyed however this time I was unable to eat it. Dont think I will be back. Very disappointed. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We were passing by the shop and decided to have a fish supper. This is not a place where you can expect a quick in-and-out experience, as they only fry your order when you place it, but it is definitely worth the wait.

Been using this chippy for ages and then suddenly it closed and i could not get hold of them on the phone after repeated calls. Left hanging and not impressed.

Best fish and chip shop in prestwick have to wait while the food is cooked so it’s hot and fresh all staff all very friendly
