"A pleasant and delicious Thai Food expérience "We walked into Rain for dinner on a busy shopping evening. The restaurant is nestled in the Publix grocery plaza on Cheshire Bridge Road; with plenty of parking stalls around it. We were greeted by what appeared to be the owner/manager upon entry and were sat by the gazebo at the left end of the dining room whereby large padded leather booths overlook the plaza through its floor to ceiling glass windows and wooden shutters. Very limited vegetarian menu plus the items are not marked so have to be verified with the kitchen one at a time. Even the cashew dish isn't vegetarian. Said they can replace the Pad Thai sauce with soy sauce vs the regular sauce but most of the sauces are oyster or (other) fish based and can't be changed. Mango Sticky Rice was amazing. We had one sushi roll, and it was not bad, but the Thai food was nothing special at all. This was the first time we visited this place and we were not impressed, especially for the prices. This is a common problem with restaurants now where everything has gotten to be very expensive and the food is very mediocre. I ordered a pad Thai, which was just average compared to the many other Thai spots in and around Atlanta, and the Mongolian beef was actually terrible. $55 for two plates and one $10 sushi roll, no drinks or anything else. For drinks we had two Voodoos, very refreshing fruity drinks.Appetizers were Shrimp in Blanket and the Tempura Sampler (two shrimp and vegetables)Mains were Pad See-U and the Super Rain Roll (comes with extra smoked salmon).The food and service (Treent, our server, was very helpful) was most excellent. However, if I had to do it again, I would have chosen the Valentine Roll, same as the Super Rain Roll, just that the salmon isn't smoked, more for my sushi taste bud liking.We have been frequent diners here through the years and consider this restaurant a favorite!

I love this place so much! I often come with my family before the pandemic and also have my graduation celebration here with my family as well. Their foods are always wonderful and tasty! If you like small appetizers, I recommend the Penang gyoza and moo ping. They are my go for appetizers. My fav thai dishes would be the duck curry and tropical flounder! The fish is very crispy and the seasoning is perfect! Also! Don't forget the fried ice cream as dessert!
This is my absolute FAVORITE thing to order here...the lobster roll. I don't know if it's the lightly fried lobster meat or hint of avocado and asparagus. But, the combination of it all is a celebration for your taste buds. I had to order it to-go thistime. However, the presentation of it while dining in is a masterpiece. I took my dad here for fathers day, he used to go there regularly with a friend a few years back. The manager immediately recognized him, and quickly seayed us and brought us salads on the house. Their food was always great and very reasonably priced, and still isFood: 5/5
Showed up for lunch. Ordered a spicy entree. It was done perfectly, and the spice kept my lips tingling for 30 min after I was finished eating. The staff stopped by and refilled my tea cup while I was eating. Excellent service.Food: 5/5

Been going here since the 90’s and it’s still one of the best Thai restaurants in the city. Always fresh. Great service. Nice selections. Very reasonable. Hard to find better Thai in Atlanta.
We took my mother who is vegan here for her birthday and she loved it. She came back with a friend in the same week
