I had to leave with my kids immediately. The selection of donuts was very limited, and the few that were available looked stale. There were flies all over them! My daughter pointed out, “There are flies in there,” to which the woman just said, “Oh,” and waved her hand as if to shoo them away. It was clear she had noticed the flies all along but didn’t acknowledge them until my daughter mentioned it. I felt embarrassed that my daughter spoke up, but kids will be kids! On top of that, it was quite dark inside. They really need to open the curtains and let some sunlight in. It felt like walking into a messy, unkempt relative's house. I visited this restaurant because my usual spot was closed, and I regret my decision. I noticed it has new owners, and unfortunately, I don't think they should be in the donut business. I ordered a maple donut, but it tasted like a glazed donut with no hint of maple at all. When I first saw it, it looked a bit translucent, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, hoping it would still have a maple flavor. It definitely did not! I won’t be returning to this place.
Ive been here twice work 4 minutes away; and I fell in love! The customer service is amazing! (The ladies I 've ordered with are friendly and hospitable. Both times I 've ordered the "Sausage(more of a sliced link , egg, bacon, avocado, cheese croissant sandwich ! Everything here is good. Tasty and fresh breakfast!! Friendly staff and they always have french vanilla and cinnamon for coffee!
