as an Indian Malaysian visit france for the 6th time with my French wife, I would like to inform you all that eating is not Indian, neither from the north nor from the south indiens. where in the world .not even talk where in india do they see that samosa is served with naan? carbo together with carbo? really? naan is actually a main dish, taken with curry; they get either naan or rice. but not as a starter. I ordered curry garnelen. what I took was not garnering; it was eggy, tasteless proteins. in the last 16 days I traveled to France, where I had eaten seafood (marseille, la rochelle, quiberon, brest. that was not seafood. the curry didn't even taste like curry. the worst part of dinner c...
We were staying in Mercure nearby, with a little child, so I went hunting for take-away meals in the nearby restaurants. Indian is always a good option, and I was happy to learn the had 15% off the menu for take-away.During the time I was waiting, the very pleasant waiter offered me a seat and served me some papadum, along with the wifi password.Coming from Germany, I'm not used to being charged extra for rice, but maybe in France that's normal, so I cannot judge on that one.Anyway, the dishes were delicious, but a bit on a small side (maybe again, Germany vs. France?), and a bit too careful on the spices (I'm used to more generous flavors on Indian dishes).All in all - good restaurant.
We had a nice experience here, Good service and food, The man who greeted us was perhaps the owner and he was very professional and easy to talk to. It was a strange time in the sense that our 1 and 1/2 hr there, we were the only customer - - I guess because of the day we were there between 2 three day weekends. However the Chinese restaurant nearby was full - tour group. Recommend it however.
Not bad average I would say but the actual curry and nan are the best things about this place. Had to wait a while when I arrived as the waiter was busy talking on his mobile before he got around to serving me. Asked if I wanted it hot which was nice but could still of been hotter for me. Lamb was nice and tender and good amount given. Price was responsible.

We were unsure which Indian restaurant in the area to try as the reviews seemed to vary wildly on all of them. This was a good choice. The food was nice, service was good, while not overly friendly they were very polite and very efficient. I would definitely go back here again. The price was quite reasonable also.
This place is a little gem. Being quite an expert on Indian food having visited India many times and with also a great knowledge of the local Indian restaurant scene - this place stands out from the crowd. I will not bore with detail go and find out for yourself. They do an excellent take away service.
If you are at Versailles this is pretty much the best Indian restaurant around.They make a delightfully spicy and seasoned Madras - not as hot as the ones you would find in the United Kingdom though - a pro or a con depending on the preferences.
Came to versaille for work and saw 2 restaurants thought we would give this a try off reviews. Food was oily with only redeeming part being the nan bread. Would not come again
