My first curry at the Rajrani on Friday night and also my first one in Coleshill. The obvious thing you'll notice is how small it is, cosy is a bit of an understatement. You could literally rub shoulders with the table next to you. I am therefore thinking that this could potentially be a problem at times but fortunately it wasn't on our visit. The menu is quite comprehensive with a few dishes that you wouldn't usually find in your typical Bangladeshi restaurant. I suggest some will need further explanation from your waiter. The service was prompt, pleasant and attentive. They will add service charge to the bill but this should be taken off if you have any issues. The three of us had a variet...
We booked downstairs as was for my daughters birthday quite a lot of us asked if we could order the food per family but we wasn’t sitting at same tables as kids wanted to sit with each other so then ordered per table which was fine for josh the manager to come down and have a go at us as the food was coming out all over the place and no one knew what was what very rude staff one member of staff was high also sending little notes, my daughters friend was charged £25.90 for plain Nann boiled rice chips and a coke !!!! The fact they add a service charge to all bills is ridiculous when the service is so poor! My family had the same meal with much better service week before at another local curry...
Our favourite Indian ever! We have been going to Raj Rani as a treat for a few years now and every time it doesn’t disappoint. Staff go above and beyond with their service. It’s excellent and food always served very quickly! Presented well and tastes delicious. We even get a baileys on the house at the end of our meal which we always look forward to. What a fantastic place to eat, some of the greatest Indian/bengali food I have ever eaten and I have eaten a lot. The staff are so friendly and attentive, the food is just amazing and I would definitely return here for sure, I highly recommend to all, eat here for sure. Had a long overdue curry on Friday night. By far the best curry I have had for years. Dutiful staff a friendly welcome good service with a smile and warm welcome. Would highly recommend.
