Awful. They needed to change the hot fudge as there obviously wasn't enough to make the sundae and stopped mid way through changing it while my husbands ice cream melted on the counter to help the long line. A small teenager also used the remaining hot fudge for his own sundae that should have been reserved for the sundae that was paid for. The girl snapped at him that she needed it for our sundae even though the container was clearly empty. The adult man, I am assuming was the owner went to change the container but then left the hot fudge on the rear counter, half scooped out, never heating it up to finish making my sundae. After waiting 3 more mins to see what he was doing, while he helped...
The service was absolutely terrible. It took 20 minutes to prepare two sundaes, even though there was no one else in line. When we finally received the ice cream, we discovered that the “birthday cake” item on the menu contained chocolate. We requested a cup of plain vanilla ice cream instead, but they informed us that there would be an extra charge for that. The staff was both argumentative and rude. I recommend finding another Ralph’s location where the owners genuinely care about their customers.
Supposedly Katie and Olivia serving a large crowd equals poor customer service as I present my Ralph’s bucks for a party buck. I’m told they aren’t excepted because it doesn’t say wading River. But yet the coupon says accepted anywhere “if stamped”. Katie proceeded to tell me she will not accept them and I can pay with cash or get out in a frustrated voice. I am coming to get my money for the coupons and my $1 for the credit card fee I was forced to pay cause you wouldn’t accept the coupons.
I've been to many Ralphs in my day and this one is by far the worst. I love and breathe Centereach Ralphs and this is nothing like that. The workers are rude and forgetful. The ices have no flavor. You are supposed to receive a curved lid if you get it to go but for some reason there in Wading River you are penalized for taking it to go and get jipped a whole scoop with a flat lid. The staff at the Wading River Ralphs was excellent tonight. I had a large order and everything was done with perfection. I see some people may be complaining about the lack of hot fudge. But in the world we live in there are more important things than hot fudge on a sundae. I would highly recommend this location.
The service was outstanding, and the owner was very friendly. I will definitely return!
