I recently moved to Lawrence from Oahu and I've been missing the island, especially the food. I discovered your restaurant after seeing a post about your early closure due to COVID, which made me curious to try you out. I was thrilled to order lunch, and I have to say, the food was delicious and incredibly fresh. Everything was nicely packaged for takeout as well. My husband and I really enjoyed the authentic ramen, and the musubi was just right. I'm looking forward to sampling more items from your menu. I do hope you'll consider extending your delivery radius, as I'm just outside the area you currently serve.
I visited Ramen Bowls for dinner and had a great experience. The staff member who took our order was extremely helpful, providing suggestions and sharing his thoughts about our choices. The food arrived quickly, and there was more than enough to satisfy our appetites. It was also packed with flavor! The restaurant had a steady flow of customers, which is always a good sign.
Thin rice noodles, pad thai broth, napa cabbage, chicken carrots, scallions, peanut sauce, peanuts (v) option available served with spicy tofu veggie broth. The description above doesn't do justice to the quality and savory nature of the food here. Delicious and local. A perfect combination.
My husband and I were really excited about this place. The staff was very friendly, and they kept the dining area clean. However, the food was disappointing. I had Hakata Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, and the soup was not thick like how it?s supposed to be at all; almost like chicken broth.

So, you order first, go to your table, and they bring it out to you. The Hakata and Hakkoido ramen bowls are exceptional, as well as the Dumpling ramen bowl. The crab Rangoon nachos are very tasty. If you are looking for a noodly delight, definitely this is your place!
The loaded kimchi ramen was fantastic, with a pleasantly mild flavor that wasn’t too spicy. The pork belly tacos were both flavorful and fresh. Despite the restaurant being busy, our orders arrived promptly and steaming hot. Overall, it was a very delicious experience.
My favorite place to get ramen! I regularly drive 35+ minutes each way from Kansas City specifically for this place and it never disappoints. All of their ramen flavors are delicious and the Holy Grail fried rice is amazing as well.
Damien was very helpful to find a cheap lunch. The veggie bowl has a great flavor with a mild black pepper taste. Goes great with the spinach leaves! The iced green tea was a refreshing change up for me. Thanks!
