This was my first time trying this pizzeria, and I would definitely go back, even if the sauce is always this sweet, because everything else was spot on. I really hope it was just a one-time issue, but even if it isn’t, it didn’t ruin the pizza at all. I've had pizza from many reputable pizzerias that truly know how to make an Italian pizza, and I've experienced a wide range of quality, often encountering bad crust or cheese, or receiving old pies to fill orders. There were a few pizzerias that had sauce that was slightly too sweet but failed in other areas. Ranchito’s only "failure" was the overly sweet sauce, and it certainly didn't ruin the pizza.
The pizza here is outstanding—truly a step above the rest. Ranchito’s features a deliciously sweet sauce that brings back memories of the beloved South River classic, Coffaros, which is now permanently closed. In terms of flavor, this is the closest I've come to recreating the Coffaros experience, and that's a big deal. Krispy's doesn't even compare. Ranchito’s has officially become my new favorite place.
Zero stars if possible ordered a pizza for delivery an it tasted sour my husband looked at it an said it's the cheese the cheese was funky looking an old. No idea how you can use that you can tell something was off by looking at it. Had to fight with them for a refund even said they can have the whole pizza back horrible customer service
The pizza at Ranchito is excellent—definitely above average. They have a sweet sauce that brings back memories of the now-closed South River classic, Coffaros. In terms of flavor, this is the closest I've found to Coffaros, which is a big deal for me. Ranchito has officially become my new go-to place!
Pizza is good, the slices are huge. Sausage on pizza tasted a little cheap, and if the owners are reading this... PLEASE don't use shredded lettuce on burgers.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The menu offers a fantastic variety, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious.
