For eight years we have come to Corsica, staying in Calla Rossa.The restaurant is just out side the entrance to the domain, which makes it easy when arriving for our three weeks.The food is good, but not great; the fish of the day is always our choice. Or you may be offered fish fresh, and charged by the gram; I find this to be very costly and have done that on a number of occasions, and been disappointed when receiving the bill.Service is fair to good only.Pizzas are very very good here.We especially like the young man who has been here for a number of years, and seats persons. He always recognized customers and is a pleasure.Restaurant is right on the beach, nice location, and has lounges...
Despite coming at the worse time of year, everything was perfect. The service was second to none. Our waitress was efficient, smart, and smiling at all times despite the crowd. The food was excellent . A simple but varied menu with fish, meet, vegetarian and...pastas. Even the deserts and ice cream were good. Bread was fresh and crispy which is a sign of excellence near the sea. And the bill was very reasonable for what we ate and drank and for the situation just a few feet over the beach. We would certainly come back if our travels bring us back to Porto Vecchio.
Found by accident (we took a wrong turn)!, checked out the menu and decided to return for dinner that night. Beautiful setting on the beach with lights from Porto Vecchio and St Cyprian reflecting on the still water. Sensational menu with too many nice things to choose from. Decided on the Corsican menu (I have fallen in love with brousscia- a minted white cheese) - we were not disappointed. Lovely staff, candlelit table, beautiful local rose. Might even go back for our last supper.
Lightening was flashing across the sky and the power flickered off as we sat down to our meal but we couldn't fault the food! We both had the most delicious meals, some of the best we had during our stay. Staff were friendly although maybe...a little reserved. Great location right on the beach. Highly recommended

Walked round the Cala Rossa beach for a quick lunch one Sunday. We were lucky to grab the last table outside as it was packed with locals. Fantastic location right on the beach. Great pizzas and salad but the menu also had more substantial fare....Good service. Good selection of wine. Booking recommended.
Restaurant was advised by the hotel . Seemed to be ok ; view at the Mediterranean was superb ; sunset was magnificent. That was the positive side. Food was not bad but to expensive. But then the real negative part. The staff. A lot. We had an estimated of 5 different waiters
Highly recommend. Went for lunch, adults and two-year old. The staff were attentive and welcoming. Food was extremely good, we had wood-fire grilled octopus and child had pesto gnocchi No delays in getting our food. Terrace: stunning location on the beach.
We had dinner right on the beach as the waves were lapping away, which probably explains why the food did not leave a lasting impression. But again, the location is great and the staff is friendly.

Lovely pasta dishes right on the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. lts a good ice-cream stop when you walk along the beach!
My husband and I ate here our last night in Corsica We were staying at a resort close by and didn't want to drive.
