Tried Rancho Viejo for the first time today. The food was good, pretty standard. I was feeling adventurous so I ordered a cucumber jalapeno margarita instead of a fruity option. It was hands down the best margarita I've ever gotten at a restaurant. I was worried either of the main ingredients would be too strong in the drink, but it had the perfect level of cool and spicy. It was very sweet, but that's how I prefer my margaritas so I was happy. I definitely plan on coming back, and the cucumber jalapeno marg will be my go to drink.
my wife had the Carnitas tacos. the 3 tacos were filled. she really enjoyed her, but had difficulty ending her. good that I was there to help. Mexican restaurants had real salsa along with the chips. most of them taste like the Marinara sauce. we asked one of the employees to bring us some salsa of what they eat. much better.
I visited this restaurant. it is not only my favorite Mexican restaurant, it is my favorites in general. they use good seasoning and actually have wonderful kartoffels. I think the personal is wonderful. there is so much to choose on the menu. enjoys everything.
