We read about the restaurant on the Kawartha 's news so we have decided to give it a try. Overall is good, one of the owners came and greeted us and served us, She was friendly and patience enough to go over all the items on the menu. We have ordered a bit more than normal because we wanted to share and try out the different dishes. I 've rated the Food a three stars, mainly because of the mushroom Bolognese was the biggest disappointment which incurred have only received a three stars rating. This was our first time here and all of the food and drinks from app to mains to dessert were amazing. Attention to detail was apparent in the menu and on the plate. This one is a tad about our normal price range, but the food was worth the tab. We will be back again, and Rare has become our new special occasion spot for a great dinner out.
Our experience, as always, was wonderful. The dining room was cozy, the service was amazing, drinks were so tasty, and our food appetizers, mains, and dessert, were delicious. Tyler and Kassy have curated such a beautiful dining experience. We also leave so happy, and looking forward to our next reservation.
Just had a taste test here with my fiancé and it is easily one of the best places to eat we've ever been. The New York Strip, Pan Seared Salmon, House Salad, Gazpacho, and Lemon Cheesecake are fantastic and a must try. Complex flavors, kind service, and the owner is incredibly kind. Heavily recommend. Good overall Exp here, loved setting. Drinks to food was excellent. Out of duck at time of visit but the Cornish hen was fantastic as well as the sides. The tartare was delicious, best by far I have had. The quail egg was an excellent touch.Pork loin and Croquettes were on point as well.
Skipped a few pubs that were open on a Monday night and found this gem tucked away with an inconspicuous sign. Our server, Samantha, was so lovely. Meal was delicious.Dietary restrictions: Gluten and dairy-free
