Ratskeller - Tisch reservieren

Athmospheric and Keller Restaurant on the marketplace that has been in business for years. Food is hearty and traditionally Saxon. Service was also good even though we were a big group that was our lunch very late in the afternoon and they were apparently busy... organized a wedding celebration in the adjoining room at the same time. Desserts were however somewhat disappointing, but otherwise Ratskeller seems to be a good place to enjoy traditional Saxon cuisine.

Auf dem Platz seufzte ich das Ratskeller Schnitzel, es entpuppte sich als doppelt gefaltetes Schweineschnitzel mit Schinken darin. Dazu noch viele Bratkartoffeln, Gemüse und Salat, was zusammen mit einer Tasse Kellerbier ein schönes...Essen ist. Nicht das günstigste in Meißen, aber sein Geld wert.

We had lunch at the Ratskeller in Meissen. My wife had Chanterelles in a cream sauce with pasta and I had a sour roast with fried potatoes. Both were very good and were particularly delicious due to the old German atmosphere!

Centrally located near the market square this very nice restaurant has seating both inside and outside. The beer is cold and the have free toilets and accept credit cards.

Had dinner here with a colleague and were more than happy. Service well. Beer very good. Foo excellent. What could you want more?!
