Just left there after a meal that I have never been so disappointed in, before ever! My husband and I go to Yorkton quite often and always stop there for a meal. The last few times it hasn’t been very good but tonight was ridiculous!!!...It wasn’t busy and I ordered tenderloin medium rare with the sides. The waitress said that toast comes with. So ok I will order potatoes and carrots. There were only other people there at the time dining, so not busy. We got our meals and mine was a ribeye. I said this wasn’t what I ordered. A group of us stopped in at this out of the way resto on the recommendation of some folks in a nearby community. We’re glad they gave us a heads up because Rawhides is a “bit off the beaten path” but well worth the...side trip. The restaurant/lounge/events facility is housed in a renovated school and while you’re there for a meal be sure to take a tour around the place. They’ve done a remarkable job with the renovations, and the staff you’re sure to run into are very friendly and happy to talk about the place. As to the food, it’s very good quality for a very good price. Several of our party had the lunch special (Philly Cheesesteak) and were very happy with their choices. Burgers and noodle...
Sitting in virtually the middle of nowhere, this place is unbelievable. Meals prepared fresh and from scratch. Noodle bowl and burgers were amazing but you can not leave without trying the home baked brownie with ice cream. The food is fast and expertly prepared and...the menu has something for everyone. The building itself is full of history and the event center is stunning. The staff were so welcoming and happy to give you a tour. Can’t say enough about what a gem this place is. It’s worth a road trip just to check it out and have a serving of small town flavour and hospitality.
Went back for our second visit last month, and was very impressed! for burger and fries, reasonable. Good waiter. Good food. They have a small kids menu too. Actually took some time to look around the building and it is actually way bigger than...I thought. I had been there a few years back and didn’t realize it was that big! Definitely worth the stop if you are in the area! If it’s your first time in the building, look around upstairs, there is lots to see!
Great restaurant great food. Pleasant staff. Been a regular there lately only had one occasion that service was a bit slow but a power crew was in and rest. Was swamped that day. Otherwise all other times expectations were met or exceeded. Highly recommended if...you are in the area. You will not be disappointed
A group of ladies journeyed to this restaurant for a late lunch. The venue is amazing. We ate a delicious lunch (extensive menu) then toured the building ending up on the huge patio for a relaxing cup of coffee Very nice place to visit even...if it is an out-of-the-way location
It’s Awesome to have such a neat restaurant close to home... we go here for birthday dinners, take family from away here and all n all they have really good food and good service. They make good pizza for take out (just ask for extra...cheese , doesn’t cost much more)
Poor. Terrible food experience. My salmon was sent back. I watched my husband eat his meal. As he finished mine arrived. No apologies or credit. Atmosphere was depressing. Cindercrete blocks. No view.
Excellent food and great atmosphere. Had our staff Christmas party here. Staff very friendly and gave great service. Not what you expect in a tiny town. Can’t wait to go back!
