So disappointed with our curry tonight from Rayleigh Spicy. Jason’s prawn pathia had 5 prawns in and flavour nothing like we’ve had before, my chicken tikka dansak had over cooked chicken and lacked flavour, George’s korma had bone in. Jason phoned to let them know and ask if they’d changed chef, but no. We were offered another curry but having eaten half we didn’t want another one. So we were offered 10% off our next order by way of an apology. Just feel disappointed. We’ve been loyal customers for over 20 years! Sadly we will not be ordering again :
We recently used Rayleigh Spicy to cater for our 30th Birthday Party. I gave them 2 weeks notice and they were able to assist in feeding over 30 guests. Thoroughly enjoyable food, all guests over the moon to see an Indian turn up when they are tipsy, huge portions. Have had both eat_in and takeout from the Spicy. Shah and the team always go above and beyond.
Enjoyed probably my best ever curry in here, the Rezzala is to die for, all food though was superb, the service exceptional and overall faultless Rayleigh's number 1 Indian restaurant without a doubt! we have been in rayleigh spicy for several years and have always enjoyed our meal times. the staff are friendly and attentive. eating is delicious.
