I first went here with a friend not realising that I had been here many times as a kid.It used to be a corner store, right next to my primary school, and next to what had one been an outdoor movie theatre (only at night) in the 50's. I used to go in there pre decimal with tuppence and get licorice squares. For a while in the 80-90's in was a hydroponic store. Thank you, thank you to who ever decided it would make a perfect cafe. The decor is quirky 60's, the chairs are recycled (from council pickups) crome ones like my mum had in the kitchen with formica table tops and they even managed to get games from the 60's & perhaps early 70's. This cafe is heaps of fun for a 40-something like me - vintage kitsch everywhere, all reminiscent of my own home as a child. Lots of fun showing my kids what our old kitchen table, telephone, tape recorder, magazine holder etc used to look like! We went for Sunday brunch -the food was delicious and the kids' breakfast menu was brilliant - I mean, nutella and banana filled croissants? Wide variety of choices, tasty, reasonably priced...my only gripe is that the service was a bit slow. On the upside, there is a cosy board games corner to pass the time. My partner and I have just moved in down the road and we love coming to this café on the weekends! The coffee is generally always good, the food contains so much love and is so tasty. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. It is very family friendly and even our dog gets to enjoy a little baked treat.
Called in here to catchup with family and friends for lunch. Great light lunch menu and very good coffee. Had the beef and Guinness pie and wife had mushroom stack. Very nice. Pie was chunky and full of flavour. Very friendly service and staff. Will definitely be back.

I do love to come here for breakfast :) the food is so simple and good and the staff is very kind and polite. Is a perfect way to start my morning reading my book. I highly recommend Raymond'S cafe! ☀️☕️
This is a favorite of ours as we visit often. Good service and great food. Nice fresh produce. Love the big and little Breaky and this week had the zucchini fitters with bacon. Very nice.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. They were very welcoming of my 15 months old grandchild. The serving staff were welcoming and accommodating.
