Went there recently. Just got a 1/2 pound of brisket. Or I should say I paid for a 1/2 pound of brisket and got something closer to .35 or .4 pounds at the very most. How do i know it was plenty light? I 've eaten EXACTLY THIS at dozens of TX bbqjoints and never had a 1/2 pound serving this small. The sauce is not very good. It just tastes like sweetened ketchup withsome spices and chili added. Not good, but it would pass for an authentic TX sauce. The $22 price tag for a light 1/2 poundof brisket is quite outrageous too get real. Over priced sides as well, wont be back. On a positive note. Rays has been following BBQ on social media for some time. We stayed in So Cal for the holiday and had to visit the restaurant. We have a brisket sandwich, Fleischmann Burrito, lb ribs and some Mac n cheese. The food was all I hoped it was! Juicy and full of taste! Delicious food and great customer service! Will definitely be over again!
I've tried virtually every BBQ spot in Southern California. THIS is the new benchmark. Ray is principled. His store hours are limited because he wouldn't serve reheated food. I've tried everything on his menu. All of it as good or better than anything I've had in Texas, Memphis or Atlanta. The real deal and worth the trip.
Rays will NOT disappoint you! The quality, the service and the atmosphere is 5 stars! I’ve been here several times and today I just had to give it a review and tell the world. If you are in the area or if you want to try a new BBQ place don’t worry about the drive this place is worth it.
Awesome BBQ and love their sauce just the right amount of heat and sweet! I got the MeatMan Burrito to go for $19.99 plus taxes and it was worth every penny. It's like a BBQ plate rolled up in a tortilla!

Love the ribs and his spicy bbq sauce .The new spicy jalapeno links and the nachos well worth the price the brisket ahhhh its all good!!!!
