I’m starting off by saying the owner Ray is a funny and awesome individual. Everything I tried today (my first ever time) was so mind blowing delicious. The chicken tenders were perfect in every way. They’re thick, juicy, crunchy and covered in flavors that make you feel good. The fries were crispy, not soggy, with a coating of seasons. Potato salad is a must when y’all decide to go. It’s very soft, creamy with fresh veggies and a little goes a LONGGG way. My husband had the red beans and rice and we agree that it don’t disappoint. Definitely Coming back. This is the BEST Seafood spot in 209 that I have tried. The restaurant was nice and clean. Was greeted by Ray himself he was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a small Catfish with Coleslaw, a small Chicken Tender Plate with Macaroni Salad, Has to Have it Tray with Dungeness Crab and 2 Fried Corns. The food was delicious and friendly made. They have everything out on display so as you order your food you see them grab all the meat and start to prepare your order. Definitely recommend to everyone who loves fresh food and seafood.
As a Texan, I've had my fair share of catfish, and this place offers one of the most genuine down-home flavors I've experienced since arriving here. Just like in Texas, I left feeling happy and embraced like family. I ended up with more food than I paid for—hook, line, and sinker! I'm set; I've found my new go-to seafood spot for life. Thank you, Ray, for making me and my family feel so welcome and satisfied, both in body and spirit.
This was our first time trying this restaurant we were not sure what we wanted to try except I knew I wanted oysters for sure , we also ordered the red snapper basket ,chicken tender basket ,and i ordered the fried shrimp with my oysters .if your a fried food fan this was a hit! Was not sure at first if we were going to get full but by golly ray hooked me up with extra oysters yay! Thanks ray great job keep it up see you next time.

I was disappointed to find that they were out of potato salad, and instead, I was offered extra fries. However, when I got home, there were no extra fries included in my order, which was frustrating. Since I don't live nearby, I didn't want to make a 45-minute drive back to get them. Moreover, what I received in my basket didn’t even match my original order. Nonetheless, I’m willing to give this place another try in the future.
Amazing service! Workers were very kind and even gave us a free lemonade! Food shmacked for sureee! Waffle was not sweet enough for my friend's liking though, but that's just her personal taste. The catfish nuggets were just right for me and the rice was perfect! Ranch and tartar sauce was good. Mac salad was so good she put her leg up!
My grandpa is visiting from out of town, and he mentioned that he wanted to check out Ray's to see what all the hype was about. He ordered the catfish and chicken, and he said it was amazing! I ordered some wings, and they were fantastic! We will definitely be coming back soon! Food: 5/5
Me and my family ate at Rays on Sunday the 23rd, the food was amazing. The fish was fried to perfection, love the chicken. This was my aunt's first time eating there, she loved it.His customer service was great. I'll definitely be going back when ever I'm in the area.
