My husband and I are at Rays recently for the first time. I wasn't expecting it to be a pop up eatery because the pictures on the website looks like a restaurant. My husband liked the food. It could have been a little warmer in temperature considering they were just setting up. They set up a table with chairs to eat outside. They do accept CC. We had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes, greens, country fried chicken patty, banana pudding made with ginger snaps I think and pound cake.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free
The Sunday menu has the vegan country fried steak with mashed potatoes and collard greens and was very delicious and is all that comfort food should be. The banana pudding and pound cake had a good flavor and texture. The parking lot dining wasn't what was expected however the staff was very kind and made it work.Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free.
This restaurant has without a doubt the best vegan seafood in the area! They are now located on the south side of St. Petersburg at 1330 49th Street S. Ray has set up a table and chairs outside for those who can't wait to take their food home and need to eat it right away. Very thoughtful! This review was last updated on June 14, 2022.
The food was phenomenal I had the Turkey chili bbq pulled pork, my 2 year old daughter even loves it !! Thank you so much Mr Ray, you were very kind helpful. The food is immaculate and I’ll most definitely be back for me of this amazing food! Its truly a blessing to be able to eat food made with love

This restaurant serves the best vegan soul food in town, located on the southside of St. Petersburg at 1330 49th Street S. They even have a table and chairs in the shade for those eager to dig in right away. Highly recommended!
I visit this restaurant every Sunday to try out the new menu items. The majority of the dishes are gluten free and are delicious, with vegan versions of classic soul food favorites available.
First time trying Rays, wow!!! Everything I ordered for my family was so delicious. You can tell the passion is there to make this food as good as it is. Very cool people!! I highly recommend
I had the Mac and cheese and beef stew and both were absolutely amazing but special hats off to the Mac and cheese. Soooo good
