the steak-tar that ruined my dinner and yet I give him five stars... we spent the weekend in ibiza and, by chance, I played with an article that I named this restaurant. We went to dinner the first night. the place is not bad, well decorated, although the structure reminds a little of the bars that were opened in the eighties. the staff who attended us that night, a tall waiter and something shy, and a professional and pleasant waitress, well. the letter, curious, fun and with a little of everything. In may My wife booked this restaurant for 6 persons for a dinner on 27th of july. On 31st of May we got confirmation by mail for this bookîng. Between the confirmation and the day before the 27th july, no contacts anymore with this restaurant. On 26th of july at 9.30 pm we received a mail from this restaurant : cancellation of the reservation. I called immédiatel several times but nobody answered. I sent also a mail to contact me but no reaction. small place with a fairly large terrace. the kitchen takes the lead because it occupies the entire central area of the dining room. We started sharing the Russian saladilla (totally recommended, very balanced of flavors and textures), we continued with the ear in scabeche (very good), the steak pier (well though we lacked a peel of flavor) and the squid and fried lobster (never fails) ended with the soufflé of almonds and icy of yogurt (a sure bet) the service was totally at the height. We got out for about €30 each asking for 2 beers to eat. a place where you can enjoy a selection of well-made dishes.
There is no doubt that the decks are made. but they left without generosity and with a generous letter you can stay without trying several dishes. I think it should improve in this regard. the very kind service. the drink is a topic that I cannot value, but it would be appreciated that refreshing drinks were 330 ml. instead of 200 ml. In summer it's a little jot and it seems focused on making more expense. the water bottle in place if it is more than 1/2 liter. It's not a typical tapas place. It's market cover. very authentic and well made dishes. We asked for some tempered oysters with beet juice that seemed nasty to me but the rest of the dishes were very good. good treatment and good wine menu at acceptable prices
We ate 5 people and we paid 200€ (without wine). brutal quality, creativity and flavors, certainly worth it. david and his team have a lot of fun. Ask the kombucha they make, it's excellent!
The only bad thing is the location but the food is great. We got steak tartare, patatas bravas, ham croquettes and the grilled loin. The grilled loin is quite small for 2 persons.
