I will never return to this place. If I could give it zero stars, I would. My girlfriend and I visited tonight and ordered some drinks. When it was time to pay, the bartender couldn't locate my card. She asked me to wait a few minutes, but when she finally found it, she handed it to someone else! To make matters worse, she seemed intoxicated and started accusing me, saying, "You should show some courtesy. I told you to wait." It felt like she was blaming me as the customer! I absolutely detest this establishment, and I hope the bartender realizes her behavior is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect when I first walked in, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hospitality and the genuinely friendly demeanor of each staff member truly rated a perfect 10 out of 10. I often visit when I'm in the mood for a cold beer, and this place always manages to bring a smile to my face – even after a long night out. The Guinness is fantastic, and the atmosphere is great. The staff – Maggie, Helen, Geraldine, Eddie, and Sean – really know how to do their job well. They are so cheerful, and the good vibes seem endless!

I used to go to the ready Penny Inn all the time decades ago. I was 17 when I first started hanging out. I met my ex-husband there. I have never been much of a drinker so I'd hang out, play pool and drink diet soda. I just checked to see if the place still existed. I remember Pat, who spoke with an English accent and Noel the bartender. It's nice to see the bar still exists.

I was here several times and it was a great experience, but tonight I came to 3:15 and they were locked, lighter were up and I could see several people drinking in the bar. I took this subway station (especially,) to take a drink or two before they closed. very disappointed that they decided to close early. will seriously consider if I come back here. Hidden gem neighborhood spot for locals. No frills bar, 4 booth-style seating, pay per play pool table, good bathroom, no food (unless chips count). In a neighborhood where a lot of the bars look sketchy from the outside, or seem to cater specific clientele, I am glad that this bar exists. $6 beers and they take credit cards.

Hidden jewel neighborhood spot for locals. No Frills Bar, 4 stand-style seating, pay per game pool table, good bathroom, no food (without chips count). In a neighborhood where many bars look sketchy from outside or special clientele seem to fulfill, I am glad that this bar exists. $6 beer and they take credit cards.

Classic dive bar located in the heart of Jackson Heights with great prices and a lively atmosphere. What happened to Helen?
