I can't recommend this restaurant in Mount Pleasant, TX highly enough. It’s by far my favorite dining spot, even though I travel all over DFW, Texarkana, and Tyler. The owners are incredibly kind and accommodating, always ready to answer any questions. Their cheesecake surpasses that of the Cheesecake Factory, and they provide fantastic gluten-free and keto options. The keto cheesecake has a slightly different texture, but the flavor is absolutely amazing—it's the best keto dessert I've ever had. I also enjoy their keto nuts, meat dishes, and steaks. My partner loves their potatoes, no matter how they’re prepared, and their delicious green beans. And I must mention their bacon cheddar bites...
I know the restaurant industry is hurting with staffing issues, but our experience tonight was the worst service I have ever had. Saw 3 families wait so long at the door to even be recognized, let alone seated, to walk out. They left me snd my 97 year older dad standing ski long waiting to be seated that I finally walked over and asked the owner if we could just sit down at the vacant table else were standing by, and he said wait snd I’ll seat you in a minute. Stood by the table until he finally walks over and gets menus and the said go ahead and sit down. Two tables got beverages and salads before us even though we ordered before then. Our iced tea tasted stale. The fried pickles had very little breading, and they were quite stingy with the ranch dressing. The chicken fried steaks appeared large at first, but once you cut into them, you realized they were mostly breading that didn’t adhere to the meat. The cream gravy had a taste reminiscent of wet flour. The loaded mashed potatoes came with sharp cheddar cheese that had an unpleasant tang. Additionally, they charge extra for everything, including $2 for a single roll. I would not recommend this place.
For my birthday, I wanted pie so we searched for pie near me on Google and came across this hidden gem. It's conveniently located off the Hwy/Ferguson Rd. in a large red barn. The staff was polite and knowledgeable, and they even made fresh coffee to go with our treats. My wife had the Buttermilk Pie, which tasted just like her Grandma's, and I had the White Chocolate Bread Pudding. It was the best we've ever had. We'll definitely be back soon for breakfast.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. We arrived just before closing and intended to order takeout, but the staff kindly offered us a dining table. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed playing trivia on the TVs. The food and service were both exceptional, and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be returning to this cozy restaurant.
Fantastic homemade meal. Every dish we ordered from the menu was prepared perfectly. The owner came by multiple times to ensure we were enjoying our food. We started with the fried pickles as an appetizer—they were tasty and served in generous portions. We will definitely be returning soon. Be sure to try a dessert—they're amazing!
We came across this restaurant while passing through Mount Pleasant, looking for a good salad, and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s rare to find a place where you can sit down and see Cholula hot sauce and a Bible on every table. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere inside was really inviting.
I recently visited a restaurant in Michigan that isn't listed on Google Maps but was recommended to me by a friend. I can confidently say it's the best steak I've had in the city. The other two highly-rated places in town don't hold a candle to it—I could easily make a better meal at home!

I was so excited to learn that they had keto desserts! I went and got the keto cheesecake today. Sadly, it was so grainy that I felt like I was chewing sugary sand and it just fell apart. I was so disappointed.
Fantastic food! This is hands down the best club sandwich I've had in years. The waitress was warm and personable. The coconut cream pie surpassed my mom's recipe! Definitely worth a visit.
