My friend and I stopped in for a catch up meal. We shared three of their delicious grill cheese sandwiches a decaf latte and a hot chocolate. It was magnificent and delicious cafe food. could not ask for tastier. Considering they were grill cheese sandwiches, it was a bit pricey. Unfortunately the service was a bit lacking. The staff didn't smile or interact much and seemed burdened to take an order. The cafe itself is a bit on the small side, so prepare so minimal seating and being close to the people next to you.
I had a pleasant experience at this cozy, little coffee shop. I ordered a breakfast sandwich (English muffin) with egg and tomato, a large cookie (delicious), and a cappuccino (total price: $14). Overall, the food was tasty, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I plan to return and try out their other menu options. It's a cute place to meet a friend for coffee and have a light meal. The only drawback is that the space is very small; with little wiggle room between the tables.
Normally, this is a good coffee shop, and my preferred one in this area. However, some of the baristas do not make coffee which is as good as others - and this is the sole reason for not giving this cafe top marks. Their food is good - my grand-daughter loves their ginger snap cookies - and the service I have received is certainly very good. The cafe has a good ambience and its facilities are also good. It is just the human element - something which is true of every establishment I would use.
I was so glad when something new opened up on Beechwood, hoping to make it my new go-to place in the neighborhood. Alas, this place is a disappointment. Sandwiches are too rich - and I am not low-fat obsessed - they are just gross. Even worse is the service. You can be as "hip" as you want, but you are still in the service industry, so be friendly. Our “old guy’s” coffee tour has continued to find another great spot for coffee.It is the Red Door Provisions which serves excellent “designer coffee” very friendly service and a great selection of pastries along with kitchen made meals.The inside is small because the first floor is shared by the kitchen but for nice sunny days they have an outdoor patio.
Great place, really friendly and fun. The latte's are rich and creamy and the pastries are very nice, also they menu changes all the time.There sadly is one drawback, getting a table in this very popular restaurant can be tricky, but it's well worth it.
This is a cute little coffee shop with charisma. The coffee is delicious and the food is very tasty. A very pleasant experience - better than the typical chain coffee shops.
