This location is usually one of our favorites; However, I don’t know if it’s due to short staff or just don’t care anymore about the customers. But our food and drinks were not that great! We were seated and the waitress took our order. She brought bread with no small plates, stated they were waiting for “dishes to get done in the dishwasher”. Next our appetizer came out, still no small plates. She then brought out our drinks, two frozen classic margaritas, that looked as if the ice was scraped from the bottom. Mark and I received a gift card as a present, so we decided to visit the Red Lobster located across from Northlake Mall, which offers plenty of free parking. Upon arrival, the hostess welcomed us warmly and seated us in a cozy booth. Our waitress was fantastic, checking in on us throughout our meal to ensure we had everything we needed. Seafood chain that isn't worth it. We finally gave our local Red Lobster a try after getting gift cards. The food was fine (nothing special) and a bit overpriced for the portion sizes. The place was clean and modern, but the service was TERRIBLE. Took 10 minutes to even be acknowledged by the front host and another 10 to be seated, despite the early evening and ample seating throughout. Today, I had dinner at the Red Lobster in Tucker, GA, located off Lavista Tucker. As of February 1, 2024, the restaurant's health score stands at 85, which is a grade B—a bit low. The service was decent at first, but it took a turn when I found a long piece of hair on my plate. I requested that my meal be comped, but instead, I only received a 10% discount. I pointed out that I certainly hadn’t ordered any hair, but the manager didn’t seem to take that into account. The atmosphere was surprisingly quiet for a Thursday night. I apologize for not going into more detail about my experience in my previous post! Here it is: Our server was fantastic, there was no wait, and the restaurant wasn't crowded, which made for a pleasant visit. I ordered the all-you-can-eat shrimp, and I especially loved the breaded variety. The scampi was slightly overcooked, but any minor issues like that were easily forgotten with just one bite of a Cheddar Bay Biscuit. In fact, if I were to create a list of my favorite foods for my last meal, one (10) CBB would definitely be on it!
Nice clean location, our server was friendly and attentive. The biscuits were good and fresh. All the other food was mediocre, we had to send a couple items backs to be fixed over. We ordered the ultimate feast which was decent but the crab legs were cold, the Cajun chicken Alfredo was missing the Cajun season and bland. The lettuce was not fresh and we ordered a burger which was overcooked. I would not recommend this location or Red Lobster period.
I was served a mojito that had tarnished mint leaves in it. I sent it back. My party did arrive late close to 10:40, the website stated they closed at 11PM. There wasn't many people there and our food took 40 mins to come out. The food was just okay. The staff were very unprofessional, the staff were in a group trash talking management and how unorganized the kitchen is. I will never return.
I had a nice time at Red Lobster. Great friendly service and hot, crispy Catfish! I didn’t like my salad at first cuz it was all the yellow Romaine lettuce. Sunset Passion tasted like it a virgin drink, but my waitress added some rum and made it all better. She also brought me another salad and it was very delicious! Great job! The steak was an end piece, tough and over-cooked. The coconut shrimp was very good. I ordered the 3 option plate I can't remember what they call it on the menu). I ordered 2 coconut shrimp and the steak. I think I only got one order of the shrimp. I prefer the lunch deals with the chowder and the biscuits.
