The bartender was very busy. We waited for 30 minutes, so we decided to eat at the bar. My partner sat at the bar while I went to the restroom. When I returned, he informed me that the bartender seemed concerned that we were waiting for a table at the bar. I sat at the bar for about 5 minutes, but she did not come over to speak with me. Finally, a server approached me with a menu and I explained that we were waiting for a table. After more than 5 minutes passed, she eventually came over and told us we could eat at the bar. I admitted that we wanted to eat there and then she asked us what we would like to order. I mentioned that I would like to start with a drink.
