Great burger place! Unfortunately, due to the current economic downturn and chicken shortage affecting all of California, our dining experience was impacted. This situation isn’t anyone’s fault but seems to stem from COVID-19 and state-wide supply issues. We visited the Red Robin in West Covina, California, hoping to order a chicken sandwich, but the hostess who checked us in didn’t inform us about the shortage. It wasn’t until we were seated that our waitress explained there was no grilled chicken breast available—only deep-fried chicken was an option. The service here is average—nothing remarkable. I find their rewards program very frustrating. Every time we try to use a discount or redeem a free reward, there seems to be an issue. The management is poor; they never apologize or even engage with us directly. It’s always the servers or hostesses who have to deal with our concerns. Someone really needs to address this situation. It feels as though they don’t want customers to use their discounts. If that's the case, then why have a loyalty program in the first place? Unfortunately, I expect this feedback will go unacknowledged, just like when we asked to speak with a manager during our visit.
We took our kids here for lunch, and given that our son has multiple food allergies, eating at a new restaurant can be quite stressful. Our waiter was incredibly accommodating, and the allergy menu was clear and easy to understand. He answered all our questions and was more than willing to check with the chef about the type of oil used in the dishes, which we really appreciated. I'm so thankful to have discovered another safe dining option for our family. The food was delicious as well; I had the large avocobbo salad, and my children absolutely loved the fries. We will certainly be returning!
I've visited this location numerous times and have consistently had positive experiences, but today I felt compelled to leave a review. My server, Lisa Rene, was outstanding—extremely attentive not only to my table but also to her other tables. She ensured that our food was delicious and prepared exactly as we requested. Additionally, she made sure we received our drink and fry refills promptly. I can't forget to mention the cooks—they did a fantastic job, as our food was served at the perfect temperature and tasted fresh.

The gourmet burgers were delicious and fresh, perfectly sized, and came with a side of onion rings and fries. The staff was friendly and attentive, and our food arrived promptly. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Afterward, you can take a stroll at the mall and check out some shops.
Poor quality on the food. We received our pizza cold and our burger/fries under temperature. Spoke to the manager and she did nothing but apologize. Was not sincere at all. Will not be returning to this location. Jalapeño coins felt like rocks. Almostbroke a tooth biting into one.
Exceptional dining experience! The burgers are truly outstanding. The service is fantastic as well. Although there may be a short wait, it’s absolutely worth it for such a delectable gourmet meal.
It was really great. I had the mushroom and blue cheese burger and John had the regular one. Our waitress was terrific. We had a very good time.
