We had called the day before to verify hours and seating ability for a birthday of an adult. We informed them there would be 10 @11:30 am (They open at 11 am on a Saturday We arrived at 11:15 am and found them closed with a printed paper on the door saying opening 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM on a Saturday! We assumed correctly they had staffing issues, and patiently waited to noon. As no one came to open door at noon, I saw several employees walking around and pulled on the handle twice making the door jiggle. Red Robin has solid food, but has some services issues due to the large crowds that you will find most days of the week. I waited for at table to be cleaned off before I was seated on a Thursday afternoon in the bar area. A server said he would bewith me in a few minutes, which ended being over five minutes. I reviewed the menu and ordered a Simply Grilled ChickenSandwich and a Raspberry Iced Tea. The tea arrived in a few minutes and a basket of fries arrived shortly after the drink. I had a pleasant experience at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers And Brews last night, though the wait was longer than expected—we waited about 50 minutes. It took more than 90 minutes for our drinks and food to arrive. Unfortunately, the chicken was boiled and overcooked, which was disappointing since I usually enjoy the Clucks. Although I felt a bit uneasy raising the issue, I did, but the replacement dish was just as unsatisfactory. In the end, I settled for a meal with underseasoned fries. On the bright side, the staff provided good service and did their best to accommodate us.
We arrived as a group of five and waited 30 minutes to be seated, despite only three other families being present in the dining area, which had about 9-10 tables. Several tables were left uncleared, with half-eaten food, used napkins, and empty baskets scattered around. Throughout our entire visit of about an hour and 15 minutes, no one came to clear any tables. Our food took 45 minutes to arrive, we were never offered water, my son found a long hair in his meal, and some of our orders were incorrect. We will not be returning to this restaurant. Back in 2000 this Red Robin was quality. We went today after not going much because the parking situation and lack of staff has had us leave twice before due to long waits with barely any customers. Anyway we met today and service was good but the food wasterrible. Fry?s were undercooked. Bacon looked like it was microwaved. I couldn?t even eat the chicken in my salad. My sonsMacaroni and cheese looked like soup. Both kids wouldn?t eat their fry?s. They stated they were ?terrible? (they will eatanything). Take pride in food quality. Do better.
This afternoon, I visited the Clackamas, Oregon location and was disappointed by the drinks. The raspberry lemon drop came in a very small glass, and the martini tasted like it had no alcohol. When we mentioned this to the manager, he responded sarcastically, saying they can’t afford proper martini glasses and just use regular ones. Needless to say, we left and won’t be coming back. Later, I saw the company has only 1.5 stars in reviews. I definitely do not recommend this place.
Well it was my birthday so my husband took me out for my birthday lunch my choice..Great food..service was not that great but we sat in the bar and their was only one other couple in bar and the waitress was more concerned with being on her cell phone thenserving us and the other table. We had to ask for napkins, a knife, refill on our drinks never brought us more fries but thefood was great.
Looooove red robins. Go here all the time!! Gotta downgrade them this time because the wait was ridiculous. Called ahead was told 630...got there at 628 and didn't get my food til 710. Completely irritated with them and this whole ordeal. The workers just kind of stood around like there was nothing to do but their were at 8-10 ppl waiting. Disappointing! My Wife suffered from Covid isolation and Red Robin has menu items that She eats despite anorexia such as both beef and impossible burgers. The bottomless fries are bottomless and milkshakes are too big for her but not for others. It is always apositive experience. I love the place.
