Just returned from 2 weeks away and visited the Red Rum on several occasions (day and evening) and just felt I had to counteract some of the negative reviews below. I’m not sure what some people were expecting but we found it to be a nice little 'pitstop ' after a long hot walk, or for a chilled out hour or two after our evening meal. Yes, it’s never going to be the Ritz, but then it’s not pretending to be either. We mainly had drinks as we were half board so only had an odd snack, but it seemed quite popular with the locals on a weekend and they wouldn’t frequent it if it was as bad as some reviewers are saying.
