We recently visirted the Redcliffe region on a family outing. The Redcliffe RDL was centrally located so or small group discussed to have lunch there. We all had an item off the lunch time specials menu. We found the meals genious in size and quite good quality.If your in the Redcliffe area then I'd recommend that you vist the Redcliffe RSL.Quite a nice surprise.
Beef & mushroom pies came out cold. We sent them back, they came back maybe 5 degrees warmer. They tasted disgusting. The meat was stringy and chewy - I'm guessing it was yesterday's beef....pastry was burnt on the top and soggy on the bottom. The wedges on the other hand were nice and crispy and tasty. Such a shame as it's a nice venue with great views.
Normally you go there and it is that busy. But we decided to travel from the Gold Coast for lunch. It was pleasantly quiet. Our meal was nice and the staff friendly. Sadly had no luck on the pokies. The Entertainment wasn't too bad.
Food was good. Lots to choose from. Need to have small meals too that are not battered and fried. Is a typical club atmosphere but very pleasant.
