The beef dish reminded me of the old Su Hong restaurant that closed in Menlo Park. Things haven't been the same.We also ordered the classic Chinese Chicken Salad Moo Shu vegetable. Food: 4-5/5 Service: Standard, didn’t lack anything Ambiance: Casual We ordered the chongqing style beef, cabbage, cold noodles w/ chicken and dumplings. The Chongqing style beef is definitely a specialty item and more “unique” where you may not find it at every Chinese restaurant. This was my favorite dish and imo really good. The cabbage was tasty and the rest of dishes were good, but nothing mind blowing. Service was standard where we got refills timely and food came out quick, but nothing above and beyond. I would come back again for certain dishes and that comfort feeling.
Waited for 2 hours to get food today and they didn’t even start cooking it yet. This is after placing order and them saying it’ll be ready at 5pm. By 7pm still nothing, when I show up twice already. Terrible service, terrible communicationApparently they prioritize DoorDash over all other orders because of ratings.Would not recommend.
I want to give it a five cuz the food (Dan Dan noodle and Chinese jian bin 煎饼 were really good. But the female boss at the counter was acting as if I lived in the communist china in the 1970s. Love the chinese pancake （煎饼果子） here. The pumpkin cake （南瓜饼） also has good taste. Price is a little more expensive than I expected. Those dim sum are authentic though. Service can be improved but I guess the character of the owner is very straight.
Pretty average Chinese spot. They are open late! We ordered pickup, and it was ready to go in a reasonable amount of time. Very limited seating inside. It's located in a busy area so it was a little challenging to find parking.
Great food at reasonable prices and really nice staff/owner. One of my favorite restaurants in Redwood City. Recently they increased their hours of service to also open late night.
